A Jesse Tree represents the family tree of Jesus. Jesus was God's son, but he had a family on earth too.

The prophet Isaiah knew that Jesus was going to be part of Jesse's family tree.

The stories from the Jesse tree are all about people who are part of Jesus’ family tree. 

 

Their stories teach us about God’s big plan, his promise to rescue the world and point towards Jesus coming to earth.

 

Each story has a symbol. Some people like to make these symbols and hang them as decorations on a tree or twig in their homes to remind them of God's big plan.
